Welcome to UKcampingandleisure.co.uk. We set up UKcampingandleisure.co.uk in 2021. It may be a relatively new website, but it is rooted in many years of our motor factor and outdoor leisure experience, and sister site to our established and successful ecommerce operation Bars4Cars.co.uk. So, a little bit about us… We met in 2011, whilst working at one of the country’s largest and respected motor retailers. We were responsible for the ecommerce side of the operation dealing with the sale of vehicle parts. During this time, we accrued a wide-ranging knowledge not only of the automotive and leisure industry but also and more crucially, personal links with many of the major manufacturers. In 2018, we decided it was time to branch out on our own and offer an ecommerce site tailored specifically to those looking to purchase Roof Bars, Roof Boxes and Cycle Carriers for all makes and models. So Bars4Cars.co.uk was born! After several years of trading very successfully on our own website Bars4Cars.co.uk and platforms such as eBay and Amazon, it was clear that our initial remit of ‘Bars for Cars’ had been outgrown. Based in a large unit in Northampton, with an over growing team, we were now carrying over 200,000 lines and a large proportion of those were relating to the camping and leisure industry. So, to allow us to complement and concentrate on this area, the next step was to set up a site dedicated wholly to this, hence - UKCampingAndLeisure.co.uk.
