I took my Volkswagen T32 to Turn Key Engineering as we have our own transport company and I was surprised at the operation and requested a tour so I could see exactly how detailed a rebuild they claim they did at which point I unloaded my Van and around 3 weeks later I got an email with a video and photos of everything which again I was surprised at but in a good way you understand. They told me it was ready and it was a no fuss process. Just a parts invoice I had to pay at the beginning of the job and I paid the balance at the end. Very professional and very knowledgeable.

My husband took my Audi A4 to Halfords for what I thought was going to be a quick cheap service and off we go to see our daughter who is getting married and we were going to lend our car so she could go to the Lake District for her honeymoon Instead the engine started knocking and I've been at my wits end until I spoke with a lady engineer called Pat who calmed the situation organised the rebuild and we picked up our car yesterday . As a seasoned Volkswagen Transporter Type 2B proud owner I don't think I could have found a more honest approach from this organisation and one that actually knew about this particular model and to boot were able to provide some new old stock parts which they managed to source from France of all places one of which my ignition barrel which I have to say had been a rather touch and go affair. The first time i requested a quote it was explained in detail by Pat about the service and i left it for a few weeks before booking in it was great not once to be hassled with with follow up calls pressuring to book in. Since having my Audi TT collected it took about 2 weeks before it was ready which gave me great confidence as other company's told me it would only take 2 days (alarm bells) No problems at all since getting my TT back and already had it's first service.

We were collecting a Volvo V90 with intent to drive it back up North to our dealership when the engine suddenly cut out and wouldn't start. We trawled through the net to find a reputable engineering shop who were familiar with this late model and stumbled across Turn Key Engineering and Pat who immediately saw our predicament and arranged for the vehicle to go onto a low loader that day. It seemed like a very professional service on the phone but when we actually met the team and saw that they were already removing the engine and spoke at length to the owner we were pleasantly surprised and being in the trade ourselves we had intrinsic and technical knowledge ourselves so we just needed a resolve that wasn't going to be explosive price wise. Although we had to leave the car with them for 3 weeks we drove it back yesterday and its now ready to go onto our forecourt with a full engine warranty.

We first spoke to Pat and thought the service provided was simply overpriced for our Volkswagen EOS so we sort a much cheaper price elsewhere in London. That was our first mistake and after 2 months of constantly going back because the engine kept mis miring we booked in with Turn Key Engineering. They had their reasons for charging what they did first time round and our only craw was that there was an additional part which was a fuel injector and it was pointed out this was not part of the engine rebuild. They were right but we just felt that this was the last straw as our pockets had been emptied not once but twice .However we have trouble free motoring having now driven 1200 miles so we thought anyone reading this should consider using them. They are easy to deal as we are quite traditional and not used to this on line thing but the steps were clear and they looked ever so busy when we came to collect so we gather lots of people must trust them

TurnKey is our preferred engine rebuilder for our Transit Fleet. They have many engineers and to be fair to them we did have a problem on one of ours post rebuild that was a coincidence of events and not related to the works but they still sent an engineer out to verify the cause. These people diagnosed my engine fault over the phone and got it absolutely right . My BMW dealer whose name for legal reasons I cannot mention because they have tried everything to get it running right by stabbing in the dark has spent nearly £2000 of my hard earned money. Pat however within 10 minutes of asking me questions told me that I had petrol in the engine and to be fair it did smell of petrol but I am not a mechanic . I needed an engine replacement in my car and my normal mechanic could not accommodate me. I googled and found turn key with excellent reviews.
I was amazed with the speedy response and the accurate quote. I was advised replacing my engine could infact end up with an older higher mileage one so a rebuild was the way forward. They were true to their word. Very happy with the service

I took my Volkswagen T32 to Turn Key Engineering as we have our own transport company and I was surprised at the operation and requested a tour so I could see exactly how detailed a rebuild they claim they did at which point I unloaded my Van and around 3 weeks later I got an email with a video and photos of everything which again I was surprised at but in a good way you understand. They told me it was ready and it was a no fuss process. Just a parts invoice I had to pay at the beginning of the job and I paid the balance at the end. Very professional and very knowledgeable.

My husband took my Audi A4 to Halfords for what I thought was going to be a quick cheap service and off we go to see our daughter who is getting married and we were going to lend our car so she could go to the Lake District for her honeymoon Instead the engine started knocking and I've been at my wits end until I spoke with a lady engineer called Pat who calmed the situation organised the rebuild and we picked up our car yesterday . Our only mild concern is that we are waiting for the warranty paperwork but Pat explained it would be emailed when the administrator comes into work as she doesn't work on Saturdays

As a seasoned Volkswagen Transporter Type 2B proud owner I don't think I could have found a more honest approach from this organisation and one that actually knew about this particular model and to boot were able to provide some new old stock parts which they managed to source from France of all places one of which my ignition barrel which I have to say had been a rather touch and go affair. I think Pat who I had an initial consultation really enthuses over her job and you could feel the passion in her description of what I was about to embark upon without emptying my wallet entirely. I have a lovely almanac of images of the job and I have to say Ethel starts first time and is a joy to drive again after owning her and travelling 100,000 miles around every part of Europe over the past 12 years of owning her. The first time i requested a quote it was explained in detail by Pat about the service and i left it for a few weeks before booking in it was great not once to be hassled with with follow up calls pressuring to book in. We were collecting a Volvo V90 with intent to drive it back up North to our dealership when the engine suddenly cut out and wouldn't start. We trawled through the net to find a reputable engineering shop who were familiar with this late model and stumbled across Turn Key Engineering and Pat who immediately saw our predicament and arranged for the vehicle to go onto a low loader that day. It seemed like a very professional service on the phone but when we actually met the team and saw that they were already removing the engine and spoke at length to the owner we were pleasantly surprised and being in the trade ourselves we had intrinsic and technical knowledge ourselves so we just needed a resolve that wasn't going to be explosive price wise. Although we had to leave the car with them for 3 weeks we drove it back yesterday and its now ready to go onto our forecourt with a full engine warranty.

We first spoke to Pat and thought the service provided was simply overpriced for our Volkswagen EOS so we sort a much cheaper price elsewhere in London. That was our first mistake and after 2 months of constantly going back because the engine kept mis miring we booked in with Turn Key Engineering. They had their reasons for charging what they did first time round and our only craw was that there was an additional part which was a fuel injector and it was pointed out this was not part of the engine rebuild. They were right but we just felt that this was the last straw as our pockets had been emptied not once but twice .However we have trouble free motoring having now driven 1200 miles so we thought anyone reading this should consider using them. They are easy to deal as we are quite traditional and not used to this on line thing but the steps were clear and they looked ever so busy when we came to collect so we gather lots of people must trust them

These people diagnosed my engine fault over the phone and got it absolutely right . My BMW dealer whose name for legal reasons I cannot mention because they have tried everything to get it running right by stabbing in the dark has spent nearly £2000 of my hard earned money. Pat however within 10 minutes of asking me questions told me that I had petrol in the engine and to be fair it did smell of petrol but I am not a mechanic . Pat was excellent, completely honest and did not hesitate to tell me the truth. She did not pester me into accepting the quote and left me alone. She did make fair points which I totally agree on. She was 100% more useful than main dealers are nowadays. Thank you Pat!

I needed an engine replacement in my car and my normal mechanic could not accommodate me. I googled and found turn key with excellent reviews. I was amazed with the speedy response and the accurate quote. I was advised replacing my engine could infact end up with an older higher mileage one so a rebuild was the way forward. They were true to their word. Very happy with the service

Car was picked up from work after it started making a strange noise. Price was as stated and all paperwork emailed clearly showing works being carried out. Very Happy with the service.

Greg did a fantastic job rebuilding the engine on my BMW. It was a pleasure meeting someone who clearly takes his work to heart and spent the time explaining to me what had caused the engine to fail and the best way to maintain the fresh engine going forward. Highly recommended!
