At This Is Dyslexia, we help children, adults and employers better understand the strengths and struggles linked to dyslexia and other neurodivergent traits. Founded by award-winning dyslexia expert and coach Laura Gowers, our service is built on empathy, clarity and over 25 years of specialist expertise.

We offer diagnostic dyslexia assessments (for both adults and children), specialist tuition, workplace coaching and neurodiversity consultancy for employers. Our reports are legally recognised and meet the requirements for DSA and Access to Work. You can access support either face-to-face at our Canterbury-based centre or online from anywhere in the UK or abroad.

Our assessments go beyond just labels. They offer real insight and clear, personalised strategies—whether you’re a parent trying to help your child thrive at school, an adult seeking answers or an employer wanting to do better for your team.

People often come to us feeling overwhelmed, unsure or let down by the system. What they find is a calm, expert-led process that’s designed to help them feel seen and supported.
