Welcome to The Village Nursery, Day Nursery and Pre-schoolOur Promise�The nursery years should be a happy and rewarding experience for every family.�We promise to respect the individual needs of each child, providing equality of opportunity for all children irrespective of race, gender or culture.�Parents are always welcome in the Nursery and we work closely with you to ensure the fullest understanding of your child.�Specialist qualified staff are in attendance at all times.�The Nursery Nurses are professionals in their area, dedicated and committed to the best care for the children.�We recognise what an important role we play in each child�s development. Most of all, we want our children to be happy, confident and secure.The Nursery StructureThe Village Nursery is divided into five age groups:? The Bumble Bees? The Caterpillar Crew? The Butterfly Bunch? The Squirrels Nest? The Den Pre-schoolWe feel that grouping the under fives is important and vital for their development, with the ages of the children in the groups based on a child�s ability and development. We work closely with each individual child to ensure a happy journey through the nursery. Every child has a Key carer, an Early Years Practitioner assigned to them to work with you to follow your child�s development and progress. Each group has a Room Leader/Senior practitioner who has overall responsibility for their team, and is also available to talk to about your child.Home-cooked mealsWe have our very own cook on the premises who provides home-cooked hot meals daily.We provide:? A rolling breakfast from 7.30am? Milk and healthy snack during the morning? Hot two course Lunch? Afternoon tea? Formula milk feeds for babies are provided by the nurseryWe cater for eating requirements where possible, e.g. vegetarian, and/or religious diets and allergies. All of the children benefit from a balanced diet
