The Thistle Inn is in the village of Crossmichael, It is open 365 days 12 noon till 12 midnight, for accommodation, Traditional cooked Meals and has a welcoming Public BarWe are the New Management of the Thistle Inn & Restaurant, having taken over on the 29th of January. We have rooms and flats available to take in people on Holiday, Shooters & Fishermen, We are child & Dog friendly. We have started a project to upgrade the surroundings as we go, to a more modern, but still retaining the cosy feel of the place.Also being improved as we go, is our Menu and adding our quality range of Wines from good source. We aim to provide a very high standard, provided at a manageable price. The Thistle Inn & Restaurant is in a very quiet village, 3 miles from the town of Castle Douglas, which is known as the Food Town, and has a lot of choice to offer from reek to Italian, from Indian to Chinese, as well as our own Traditional Food.
