Thermalec® are the manufacturer of high quality swimming pool heaters and are unique in design as Thermalec heaters will operate with water coming from the filter at high velocity without it striking the heating elements directly due to our unique baffle system which is part of our original patent. Our marine and tropical aquatic heaters are designed to have no copper in them which is essential to maintain your fish's life span.  Thermalec Products Ltd., first came to life at the end of 1966 operating from a double ended mobile home in the garden of the founder Gerry Williams, who went on to become one of the best known and loved characters of the Swimming Pool industry. He and his then partner Frank Udy set up the company in Hertfordshire and very soon expanded into a small factory in Watford. Thermalec was then bought by Meddings when retirement was on the cards for Frank Udy, a good friend of the Meddings Family.
