Description
Crawley Bees is a local, independent honey farm based in West Sussex, UK, managed by Simon, the owner and sole beekeeper. Operating since 2019, Crawley Bees cares for 25 thriving bee colonies across four unique apiary sites, including Ifield Woods, Rowfant Trail, County Mall Crawley, and Deaks Lane Haywards Heath. The business is dedicated to producing high-quality, raw honey and handcrafted beeswax products while prioritizing bee health, sustainability, and eco-friendly practices.
All honey is harvested, extracted, and jarred on-site using food-safe processes, with each batch tested for quality and traceability. Crawley Bees offers a range of products, from classic local honey and the unique Fire Honey (infused with chillies) to handmade beeswax candles, melts, and wood polish. Every product is packaged in recyclable materials, reflecting a strong commitment to the environment.
Crawley Bees is a proud member of the West Sussex Beekeepers Association, with Simon also serving as Chairman since 2024. The business supplies honey and beeswax goods directly through its website, at local craft stalls, and via select retail partners. Known for its personal touch and local roots, Crawley Bees has built a loyal customer base and continues to champion the importance of sustainable, small-scale beekeeping in the community.
