Welcome to Collingwood SofasCollingwood Sofas is a trading arm of Makeport 2001 Ltd. based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Makeport was set up in April 2001 to offer a flexible and adaptable furnishing service to social landlords in Tyne and Wear.Collingwood Sofas was set up in June 2010 to service Makeport's existing customers. We identified a gap in the market to provide good quality, value for money, British made sofas with a flexible service. A team of designers, upholsterers and machinists were recruited with over 30 years experience, who have now developed a quality range of sofas, tub chairs, scatter cushions, ottomans and more at competitive prices specifically for the retail market.
