We had a brilliant day hiring a canal boat from Apsley Marina. From start to finish everything was well organised and clearly explained, which made it ideal even though we hadn’t done anything like this before. The safety briefing was thorough but relaxed, and we never felt rushed. The boat was clean, well equipped and very easy to handle. Cruising at a gentle pace made the whole experience calm and enjoyable, and the route was beautiful. Knowing support was available if needed was very reassuring. A perfect day out for families or small groups – we’d happily do it again and would highly recommend Canal Boat Day Hire.
