Basic Computing

Basic Computing provides friendly, beginner-focused computer lessons and digital skills support across Glasgow, Falkirk, Stirling and surrounding areas. We help adults, older learners, people returning to work, people with additional support needs, community groups and small organisations feel more confident using everyday technology.

We offer one-to-one computer lessons, group computer training, online sessions, help choosing a new or used computer, and support setting up laptops or desktops. Lessons can cover Windows, email, internet use, files and folders, online forms, printing, video calls, passwords, online safety and common everyday computer tasks.

Our approach is calm, patient and jargon-free, making technology feel simple, useful and less intimidating. Online support is also available for learners outside our local area or anyone who prefers to learn from home.
