There is an old saying that a solicitor who acts for himself has a fool for a client. That may be true or not. Acting in person is always a very difficult thing to do both emotionally as well as technically. A good lawyer appreciates the trauma. Andrew Isaacs qualified a solicitor in Doncaster (1985) at what is now Taylor Bracewell. He specialised from the outset in litigation. He now specialises in divorce law, he realised early on in his career that conveyancing was not why he became a lawyer!
