RIBA Chartered PracticeFounded in 1858 by Henry Peak, Hodgson Lunn & Co has been in continuous practice for the last 160 years and is the oldest Architects practice in South East England. The current principal and fifth generation of the firm is Christopher J W Hodgson Dip. Arch. RIBA, who took over following the retirement of his father, John W Hodgson ARIBA. The practice, since its foundation, has been involved in the design and construction of many varied types of Residential, Commercial and Community buildings including Offices, Industrial, Shops, Cinemas, Hospitals, Public Houses, Garages, Churches, Village halls and Schools. Much of the residential refurbishment and extension work has been carried out on properties valued at between �500,000 and �2,000,000. Conservation and refurbishment work has grown since the late 1980's as clients have sought to protect our heritage.
