I became interested… or aware even of nutrition when my Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2012. Being a practical person, I needed to feel useful and so I turned to the Internet and that’s where I found my purpose and passion in food. I made juices for my Mum throughout her chemotherapy,

when the ulcers in her mouth made eating too painful, knowing she was at least getting vital nutrients.

The good news is my Mum made a full recovery, yet the information I found on nutrition and just how much disease is caused by what we eat never left me. In fact, my fascination grew, and eventually led me to study Naturopathic Nutrition at The College of Naturopathic Medicine.
